I take peekchurz!

I've got the photography thing up and running now. If you want me to take picture of you, cool. They're free as of right now, but don't be surprised if I belittle you with taunts and foul language. That comes with the whole free package.
Here's some recent stuff I've been taking...

Music Update: First post in a while

I've been a busy boy. Haven't even checked my blog in a while so I though I'd post an update on my life as Bravo. Big Dirty Shakedown is the new band and we've been plugging along getting our first record done and gearing up for a CD release show. No date determined yet. Hopefully we'll get it out by the end of the year. We had a great show at Club De Ville earlier in October. Amazing turnout! Our friends/bandmates in Bloody Stiletto pulled out all the stops as it was their CD release show. We had lights, projectors, half naked women and my mom rolling her eyes from the crowd. Good times. I'm excited for the near future.

On top of this I'm still working hard with Son of Fire. We FINALLY got the record mastered and we'll be sending that off to get pressed by the end of October. There will be a limited number of promotional CDs available. Probably just in the Austin area, but we'll see. Stay tuned for more!

The first line

Welcome to The Danny Bravo Blog. Here you will find posts, pics, videos, and other things related to yours truly.

So I guess we'll start with the most recent stuff... SXSW.

3/21/09 @ Headhunters show.

Son of Fire made its Austin debut with a total of 4 shows during last week's cluster-fuck-of-a-festival. Despite having one a few days of rehearsals with a drummer Curtis Watts, we still managed to pull off some great shows and rock the fucking house. SOF's producer, Anton Pukshansky, was also in town to lay it down on keys. Everyone involved in Son of Fire really busted their balls to make the SXSW week a success and I personally had a great time!

Son of Fire @ PureVolume!

Along with the Son of Fire shows, Don't Feed The Pigs played our first show in 7 months. That was a fantastic day besides the whole not drinking enough water, walking off stage and throwing up thing. DFTP will definetly be booking show in the next few months. It was really great to see all our family and friends come out and I want to thank everyone who came out to support us. DFTP loves you!
